Hamish and his family have been given some much appreciated support from the Local Lions Clubs in the form of a donation that helped with the purchase of a generator. The Generator was purchased at a subsidised price from Farmcare in Mullumbimby. It's a Honda 3 KW generator. Over the past year Hamish and his wife Heather have experienced numerous power outages ranging from half and hour to almost six hours. Hamish relies on electricity to power his special bed with bi-wave carer mattress that aids in reducing pressure areas which are a very serious
concern for quadriplegics.  Cheryl became aware of the families situation and called to see if the Lions could be of any assistance. The
call was well received as Hamish and Heather were in need of assistance in a variety of ways with the generator
being the most urgent.
